Notes

Minato International Association (MIA) holds a bi-monthly film screening and group discussion event called “Minato TABUNKA Cine-Talk.” Under the concept of “Nurturing an Intercultural Community Through Film,” we screen works that offer diverse global perspectives.

This time’s film is a heartwarming documentary “Herb and Dorothy” that makes us contemplate “what true wealth means.” The story of this couple, who continued to engage with art through pure passion and love rather than money and fame, quietly asks us “what is happiness? After the screening, we will have time for free discussion to share our thoughts and opinions.

*The film is in English with Japanese subtitles.

In cooperation with: Department of Child Development and Education, Faculty of Psychology, Meiji Gakuin University
