MIA’s Chinese courses emphasize pronunciation practice, which is the key to learning Chinese. In “Beginning Chinese,” participants study basic Chinese grammar. In “Reading Modern Chinese,” participants learn about Chinese society and culture, and further improve their Chinese-language skills from various perspectives.
