Notes

In Japan public schools start in April, and at that time most cherry trees are in blossom. The local Education Board and the schools have sent you some letters with various information so far. Have you already read any of them? Do you have any questions? The Japanese school system differs from your countries’; therefore, you might have some questions or concerns about what you need to know and do now.
We are hosting a few small gatherings to go through “the Guidance for Those Thinking about Enrolling in Minato City Municipal Elementary Schools”* together: we can answer any questions you have, and give you some suggestions and advice so that you will be able to understand the Japanese school system better and prepare for the school year.
12 gatherings are scheduled for the following dates and times, and three languages are provided: English, easy Japanese and Chinese. When you are available, please come to join us.

Notes

The Kingdom of Cambodia is a Southeast Asian country bordering Laos, Vietnam, and Thailand. Let’s visit the Royal Embassy of Cambodia and learn about Cambodia’s many attractions, including the famous world heritage site Angkor Wat, Ta Prohm Temple entwined by giant tree roots, and Tonle Sap Lake where many people live on the water!

After the presentation and Q&A session, we will enjoy conversation with the people from the Embassy over snacks and drinks from Cambodia.
